HEAL Cycle India 2016
Created by HEAL (Health and Education for All)
6th February 2016
09:00 AMCycle India has become HEAL's single biggest fundraising event having raised £250,000 over the four events and, crucially, spreading a lot of happiness to the participants, children at the HEAL Villages and projects and the people of India.
RAJASTHAN will be the stunning destination for a group of cycling enthusiasts in February, when supporters of HEAL (Health and Education for All) once again take to the saddle to raise money for orphaned and destitute children of India.
"HEAL's mission is to lift as many children out of poverty as possible and provide them with shelter, healthcare and an education - something which will enable them to stand on their own two feet in the future," said HEAL's director of communications and Cycle India organizer Jem King.
Cycle India 2016 will call in at the iconic Taj Mahal before setting off from Agra, taking in Ranthambore National Park along the way, and will also spend a day visiting the famous 'Pink City', Jaipur, after the five days of cycling before heading south to meet the children at HEAL's projects in Andhra Pradesh.
Calling in at HEAL Children's Village, Guntur, and the remarkable HEAL Paradise Village development at Thotapalli, near Vijayawada, is expected to be the icing on the cake for the team of cyclists.
Time is running out to register for Cycle India 2016, which runs from February 6-17, but full details of the trip and how to make payments can be found on the HEAL website: http://healcharity.org/uk/events/cycle-india-2016
